Two Systems to Choose from

We offer the versatility of two different manufacturers of kayak electric trolling motor mounts for you to select from. We can start with a base kayak purchased through us, or install a custom system on your existing kayak.

Electric Kayak Company “EKC”

We are an exclusive dealer for Electric Kayak Company “EKC”. As a dealer, we offer customized kayak trolling motor mount packages that feature made-to-fit mounting systems, which can be modified to fit most kayaks available on the market today. The EKC builds a trolling motor system, which is based on a Minn Kota motor. We can custom rig your existing kayak or a brand new kayak purchased from BC PowerYaks. Get your gear the way you want!

We use Minn Kota motors from either the Endura or Riptide lines, depending on your need for a freshwater or saltwater motor. Each motor package includes standard features, and you can add optional features to enhancement for your motor package. Some of the options are variable speed controls, wireless speed, steering controls, second battery packs, power motor tilts, and kill switch with lanyard. Torqeedo Motor System

BC PowerYaks is a distributor of the Torqeedo ultralight outboard motors for kayaks. Torqeedo is a German high-efficiency lithium-powered motor. Our main product is the Ultralight 403 AC. This comes with a battery, charger, remote throttle, on-board computer, GPS-based range calculation, and an emergency magnetic stop key.

The Ultralight is equipped with a lot of power to move your kayak right on top of the fish for that big catch! Anglers love how lightweight it is and how easy it is to fix in place, operate, and transport the kayak.
